Tue, December 14, 2004 - 3:05 PMThank you Winter. It has been an evolutionary process for sure. Jo and I are now drafting up a Collaborative Divorce Agreement that we plan to abide by as we continue living together and raising the children. I'll try to post it here when we feel it is complete.
Funny thing I realized this morning. I can schedule the final hearing as early (but no sooner than) 91 days from filing (today). That puts it at March 15th. I am reminded of Shakespeare's words from act one, scene two of Julius Caesar, Caesar asks a soothsayer what the future holds:
Caesar: Who is it in the press that calls on me? I hear a tongue, shriller than all the music Cry "Caesar!" Speak. Caesar is turn'd to hear.
Soothsayer: Beware the ides of March. -

We were pretty nervous about having all our paperwork in order, especially given the unusual circumstances of our parenting plan but it was honestly like going to Jiffy-Lube...in and out in 29 minutes. -
